These walks are designed to help dogs learn how to:
- stay calm around other dogs (without needing to interact constantly)
- practise lead walking / loose lead skills in a real group
- build recall reliability (where appropriate and safe)
- strengthen focus and check ins
- develop emotional regulation in exciting environments
- enjoy healthy enrichment through sniffing, exploring and moving
It’s still a walk, it’s just a walk with purpose.
✅ 1–1.5 hour adventure (walking time depends on the day/location and group needs)
✅ Collection + drop off
✅ Small group cap: 4–5 dogs
✅ Trainer-led, carefully managed group dynamics
✅ Individual time built in (micro-sessions, check ins, and 1:1 moments)
✅ A dog who comes home fulfilled, not frazzled
This service is for dogs who are:
- social and comfortable around other dogs
- have no bite history
- can travel calmly in a crate
- show no concerning reactivity (towards dogs/people/handling/vehicles)
- able to be safely managed on lead if needed
If your dog doesn’t meet this yet, that’s okay. It just means we build the foundations first.
If your dog is worried around dogs, reactive, easily overstimulated, or you’re unsure about safety, I recommend my
Foundations First Training Walks.
That’s a 1:1 training walk where I work on the exact skills your dog needs to eventually join small group walks safely, such as:
neutrality around dogs
lead skills
recall foundations
calm observation and disengagement
confidence and emotional regulation
Tuesday morning
Pick up available from: Upper Killay, Bishopston, Murton, Pennard and Southgate
Thursday morning
Pick up available from: Upper Killay, Killay, Dunvant and Sketty
Spaces are limited because groups are intentionally small.
Only where it’s safe, appropriate, and suitable for your dog. Some dogs benefit more from long line freedom or lead based decompression and that’s completely fine.
Maybe. Overexcitement can tip into frustration in a group. A trial walk helps us decide, or Foundations First may be the better starting point.
Yes, in a real life, practical way. Think calm group movement, check ins, recall opportunities, lead skills, and disengagement.. not drilling obedience for the sake of it.
This will vary, but I tend to walk in the following places -
Three Cliffs
Park wood
Ilston
Tor Bay
Singleton Park
