Hi, I’m Bobbi Rae and my journey into dog training started almost by accident.

When I got my own dog, I became so focused on her needs that I wanted to spend as much time with her as possible, which led me into professional dog walking. Very quickly, I noticed something: many of the people I walked for didn’t feel confident handling or training their dogs. They loved them dearly but didn’t know where to begin.

That’s when I realised I could do more than just walk dogs. I could help people and their dogs together.

     The moment it clicked

At the same time, I joined a local dog training club with my own dog. Watching her learn, navigate challenges, and respond to training was an incredible experience. It wasn’t just about the commands, it was about connection - the way trust builds, behaviours shift, and understanding grows over time.

Since then, I’ve learned that life with a dog moves in seasons. There are exciting beginnings, testing transitions, and quieter moments where we simply pause and reconnect. I see my role as helping you navigate those seasons.

For me, training is about more than just ticking off commands like "sit" or "stay." It’s about building a balanced, supportive relationship between dog and owner. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions or shaming anyone for where they’re at. Instead, I meet you where you are, helping you understand your dog, your role in their behaviour, and how to work together in a way that feels right for both of you.

Why my approach is different

My work is always about both ends of the lead.

For your dog → calmness, confidence, and skills for daily life.
For you → clarity, resilience, and confidence in your role.

I bring empathy from my own experiences - living with a dog who struggled with anxiety and reactivity, and living with ADHD myself. Both taught me that progress is never linear, and creative, compassionate solutions are often the most effective.

A blend of science and heart

I hold a Master’s degree in Animal Behaviour & Training, am an ICF trained life coach, and keep up with Continued Professional Development. But I also bring patience, creativity, and a genuine love for seeing people and dogs thrive together.

My aim is always the same: to make life easier, calmer, and more connected for both you and your dog - whatever season you’re in.

What you can achieve by working with me

Together, we’ll do more than reduce unwanted behaviours - we’ll turn daily challenges into skills that bring calm, confidence, and connection. Whether it’s pulling on the lead, reactivity, or simply struggling to settle, I’ll help you build habits that make life easier for both you and your dog.

But my work goes beyond solving problems. It’s about supporting both ends of the lead:

For your dog → training life skills that fit into everyday life, from walking calmly in busy places to learning assistance-style tasks that make your routines smoother.

For you → coaching that builds confidence, resilience, and clarity in how you support your dog - so you can handle setbacks, celebrate progress, and feel grounded whatever season you’re in.
The result isn’t just obedience. It’s trust, respect, and teamwork. It’s knowing you can enjoy the park, head out on adventures, or simply relax at home together - with a dog who feels understood, and an owner who feels capable.

A little more about me

I have a scar from being bitten while trying to rescue a fox. I’m certified in Level 1 Sign Language. The freest I’ve ever felt was galloping along a shoreline on horseback. Lord of the rings is my comfort film. I teach my dogs how to find my keys, phone and purse - indicating their find by lying down with it between their paws or fetching it to me.

Wherever you are now, there’s always room to grow, connect, and enjoy the journey with your dog.
